Es gibt kein Außerhalb – aber das Milieu.

Was wir hier als Milieu bezeichnen, ist kein abgeschlossener Raum. Das Milieu ist ein Nährboden, nicht abgetrennt nach innen und außen. Mögliche Wände dieses Raums sind durchlässig in beide Richtungen. Das Milieu schafft kein Außerhalb bestehender Verhältnisse. Es hat aber das Potenzial zu Anderem, möglicherweise Subversivem oder Neuem. Weil es das Milieu gibt, bietet sich die Möglichkeit, mit den Verhältnissen umzugehen und sie nicht als unumstößlich zu betrachten. Rauch entsteht an einem Ort, hat aber die Eigenschaft sich auszubreiten. Zur Milieubildung braucht es Menschen, Ideen und Utopisches. Was hier wichtig ist, ist von den Beteiligten selbst herzustellen.

There is no outside – but the milieu?

What we call milieu is not at all a stable room. It is a breeding ground, without a concrete limitation between the inner and the outer space. The walls of this room are porous in both directions. The milieu creates no exterior space, out of current ratios. Still it has the potential to the other, probably subversive or new. The existence of the milieu provides the possibility to treat the common ratios instead of forgetting them as unalterable. Smoke has the quality to spread. For the cultivation of the milieu, people, ideas and utopia are needed. Relevance can only be produced by the involved people.
