deep level clearing

Die Tiefenenttrümmerung/ The deep-level clearing

The deep-level clearing is a method to rehabilitate areas. The term is also used in construction.
The deep-level clearing is clearly not a process of cleanup, it is a process of rubble clearance with the objective of reusing the areas differently. The deep-level clearing might be destructive in some parts, but not in its totality. Demolition grab, hydraulic hammer, sorting grab, backhoe bucket and screening bucket are tools for the deep-level clearing with specific characters.
The deep-level clearing is not completed, because that’s what it can never be.

A landscape format, color image that was probably taken from a film due to its poor quality. It shows a very wide river, at the left edge of the picture a bank pulls itself further away into the picture, which disappears at the right edge of the picture. The sky is grayish-cloudy. In the left foreground of the picture are two ships right next to each other, in the middle of the river. On the right one there is a large crane, in the left one there is a large pile of rubble unloaded. The crane has on a rope a dredge shovel hanging just above the water, slightly swinging to the left and from which water is just running.

____WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT? [easy access] Deep level clearing is called when, for example, somewhere there was an old factory and now the floor needs to be cleaned. To do this, various tools are used. They are called, for example, sieve buckets, backhoes and hydraulic hammers. Irène Mélix has asked many questions about these tools and what exactly they do. She thinks that in life, too, there is always a need for tools that can do different things well.____
